St. Thomas Episcopal Church

continues to hold fish frys

WEIRTON - St. Thomas Episcopal Church will continue to hold Friday fish frys, and, on Good Friday, March 29, it will end at 6 p.m., followed by a Lental program which will include Stations of the Cross.

Wedding expo scheduled

MORGANTOWN - WV Weddings Magazine will hold a wedding expo from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 24 at the Stonewall resort.

The event will including sessions on wedding-related themes, several vendors, discounts and giveaways, a luncheon and keynote speaker Mary Marantz of Justin and Mary Photography.

Hanover holding egg hunt

FLORENCE, Pa. - The Hanover (Washington County) Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. March 30 at the fire department located at 9 Starck Drive, off Steubenville Pike.

The hunt is open to children aged 1 to 10, and there will be prizes for the age-group winners. All those participating will receive a treat bag, and the Easter Bunny will make a visit.

Temple holding Easter distribution

WHEELING - The Bethlehem Apostolic Temple Food Ministries will hold its Easter food basket giveaway from 11 a.m. to noon March 30 at the church fellowship hall located at 330 N. Main St.

Food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Those participating must bring their own bag or box.

Cat spray/neuter program scheduled

BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. - The Animal Friends Mobile Hospital will hold a cat spay/neuter program April 3 at the borough municipal building.

The cost is $45 and includes spaying or neutering, a rabies shot, ear mite treatment and flea treatment, if necessary. Other services will be available for additional fees. Advance registration and payment are required. This service is available only for cats.

Church holding vendors night

WEIRTON - The Marland Height Community Church will hold an annual vendors night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 5 at the church located at 3900 Bright Way.

Vendors will offer Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, jewelry, totes, Avon, baked goods, magnets and key chains. Food will be available.

Mount Carmel celebrate anniversary

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church will celebrate their 14th church anniversary by hosting 1NE Ministry in concert at 6 p.m. April 6 at the church located at 708 N. Fifth St.

The group performs five-part a capella, beatbox and half-step, whole-step in harmony.
