St. Joseph the Worker and St. Paul holy name societies wine-tasting event

April 5, 2013
Weirton Daily Times

The St. Joseph the Worker and St. Paul parishes' holy name societies are hosting their annual wine-tasting event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 13 at the Madonna High School gymnasium and cafeteria.

Parishioners want to extend an invitation to everyone in the local community to join us for an enjoyable evening of tasty wines, good food and great fellowship.

More than 30 area winemakers will be present. There will be something for everybody throughout the evening including plentiful servings of finger foods, a selection of soft drinks, 50/50 drawings, and a do-it-yourself chocolate fountain.

As proud members of the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce, the parishes wish to thank the many local businesses who are sponsoring the event, the Chamber of Commerce staff for the event promotion, the local area winemakers who provide their tasty creations, and the volunteers who make this event an annual success.

Sponsorship packages are still available. The event is open to public, adults 21 and over. The cost is $15 per person. Tickets are available in advance or at the door. Contact Mike Veltri at (304) 670-0722 or Rich Pellegrino at (304) 748-1909 for tickets or sponsorship information.
