VFW Post 2716 will hold their

monthly dinner Saturday

WEIRTON - The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2716 will hold the monthly dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 6 at the post located on Main Street.

Dinner includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables and dessert.

Tickets are $7 each and including a chance in a $500 drawing. They may be purchase from any club member or by calling (304) 748-9674.

Mount Carmel hosting 1NE Ministry

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church will celebrate their 14th church anniversary by hosting 1NE Ministry in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at the church located at 708 N. Fifth St.

The group performs five-part a capella, beatbox and half-step, whole-step in harmony.

Manley to hold revival services

WELLSBURG - Stephen Manley will hold revival services Sunday through Thursday at the Wellsburg Church of the Nazarene located at 835 Washington Pike.

The Sunday services will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Evening services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. He also will lead Bible studies from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at the church.

Manley, pastor at the Cross Style Church in Lebanon, Tenn., has traveled for more than 40 years, preaching and teaching. He has begun informal Bible training centers in more than 20 countries.

The Rev. Dennis K. Yingling of the Church of the Nazarene invites the public to attend the services and Bible studies.

Speaker addresses autism

WEIRTON - David A. George, "Be Unique, Be You and Live!" author, will speaker at 6 p.m. Monday at the Mary H. Weir Public Library as part of the library's observance of Autism Awareness Month.

George will speak about dealing with a learning disability while attending college and graduate school and later being diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder.

He will address living with an autism spectrum disorder and speak about the importance of supporting and guiding children with autism.

He will be selling copies of his book for $12.72, which includes tax.

Kiwanis holding pancake supper

WELLSBURG - The Wellsburg Kiwanis Club will hold its annual pancake supper from 3 p.m to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Wellsburg Moose Lodge.

The cost is $7 for ages 9 and up, with children 8 and under admitted free. Proceeds will go to various community projects supported by the club.

Women's job readiness class set

WEIRTON - C.H.A.N.G.E. Inc. will host a job readiness class for women from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 12 at the Mary H. Weir Public Library located on Main Street.

The workshop is open to women 18 and older, and seating is limited. Reservations can be made by calling (304) 797-7733.
