STEUBENVILLE City Council unanimously approved a single piece of legislation Tuesday night declaring April as Minority Health month in the city.

The council members met with administration officials for an hour long executive session prior to the regular council meeting to discuss contract negotiations set to begin with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge Number One Ohio Labor Council.

The current contract with the police union expires in May.
