To the editor:
I want to let you know about a good samaritan who helped me last Friday.
I ran out of gas just past the light going up University Boulevard. A couple of gentlemen pushed my van into the BP station and I am grateful to them.
Another man was heading up University Boulevard and turned around to help. He told me "I'll get you on your way."
He asked what grade I wanted and then swiped his card to get the gas. I thought he'd put in $10, but to my amazement it kept clicking - $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $70, $80 and then it clicked off at $90 for a full tank of gas. When I thanked him he simply said, "It's the Christian thing to do."
What a blessing, I am eternally thankful to him, I don't know his name, but he's an angel in disguise.
