Edison High senior Hannah Johns, flanked by her parents Sammy and Holly Johns, will continue her academic and athletic careers at Wheeling Jesuit University, where she will major in biology, with the preliminary emphasis to be a physician’s assistant, and be a member of the volleyball team. Johns was a three-year starter and three-year lettewinner for the Wildcats as an outside hitter. She was named Buckeye 8 Honorable Mention her senior year. Johns was a member of the 2010 and 2012 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Class 4A champions. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, assistant volleyball coach Kriss Turk and head coach Leah Snyder. The Cardinals were 38-3 last year under head coach Christy Benner.
