Food collection drive

May 9, 2013
Weirton Daily Times
The city letter carriers and the rural delivery carriers of the Steubenville and Wintersville post offices will participate in the 21st-annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Saturday. Postal workers are asking area residents to place nonperishable food items on the porch or near their mailboxes Saturday morning and postal carriers will collect the food for a donation to the Urban Mission Ministries. Helping to prepare for the food collection campaign are, from left, Sean Beaman, John Zapotoczny and Tammy Czoka of the Steubenville post office; Patti West, Burger Lindgren and Becky Wilt of the Urban Mission food warehouse and Ron Hosey of the Steubenville post office. -- Dave Gossett
