The Rev. Don Stilgenbauer was the master of ceremonies and led the opening prayer. Bobby Brennan, a Colliers Primary School first-grader, led the Pledge of Allegiance. The Colliers Volunteer Fire Department performed the flag ceremony.

Chloe Fox, a Follansbee Middle sixth-grader, read "Here's to You, America." Jim Craft, U.S. Army, and Bernie Sanders, U.S. Navy, presented the memorial wreath.

The Colliers United Methodist Church choir sang a patriotic medley, and taps was played.
