WEIRTON - The Weirton Steel Basic Oxygen Plant employees breakfast is held at 9 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Three Springs Drive Eat'n Park.

Our Lady selling pierogies

WHEELING - Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ukrainian Catholic Church is selling fresh, homemade potato and cheese, potato and onion and meatless sauerkraut pierogies and cabbage rolls from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.

Free concert scheduled

NEW CUMBERLAND - The Joseph Sisters will give a free concert at 6 p.m. June 22 at the New Cumberland Overlook located on River Avenue.

Those attending should bring a lawn chair. Concessions will be available.

The concert is presented by the Hancock County Arts Council, New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department and Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Callas, Gilmore named to dean's list

CLARION, Pa. - Michael Callas and Jared Gilmore, both of Burgettstown, Pa., were named to the dean's list at Clarion University of Pennsylvania for the spring 2013 semester.

Students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 for placement on the dean's list.
