Shriners thank all who helped

June 16, 2013
Weirton Daily Times

To the editor:

Recently the Steubenville Shrine Club held its Tabloid Day on the roadway in front of Riesbeck's Food Market in Wintersville. The purpose was to solicit donations to support our 22 Shriner's Hospitals for Children where we treat children for neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries and other special health care needs up to age 18.

In return for the donations received we offer a tabloid that highlights some of these treatments and provides information to the public as to how they can contact Shriners to receive treatment for their loved ones, friends and neighbors.

This is carried out without regard to race, color, creed, sex or sect, disability, national origin or ability of a patient or family to pay.

Our efforts were nicely rewarded by your generous donations and many expressions of gratitude from persons who know family or friends who have been treated at Shriners Hospital for Kids in the past.
