Proceeds will benefit the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley.

Not only will guests have an opportunity to sample a wide variety of wines, but they also will have the chance to discuss the wine making process and characteristics of each wine with the wine makers themselves.

Each has a personal preference regarding reds or whites, sweet or dry, so guests to the wine tasting will have a wide selection from which to choose.

At least 12 wine makers, all members of the Tri-State Wine Makers Club headquartered at the Winemaker's Loft in Follansbee, will be offering their wines for sampling.

Ticket holders and those purchasing tickets at the door each will receive a wine glass they may keep.

Sponsors for the evening are Riesbeck's Food Markets and Main Street Bank.

Tickets are $15 each or two for $25, and are available at WesBanco in Wellsburg, Brooke County Public Library, the Brooke County Review office, or at the door.

Tickets are limited.
