will hold bake sale Wednesday
WEIRTON - The Weir High School Class of 1968 will hold a bake sale, beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the First Choice Credit Union located on Main Street.
Proceeds will benefit the class reunion Saturday at the Williams Country Club.

Tri-State Acoustic holding benefit
NEW CUMBERLAND - The Tri-State Acoustic Music Group will hold a fundraiser Thursday at the Hancock County Senior Center located on Gas Valley Road.
The doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m.
Snacks and coffee will be provided. The cost is $1; free-will donations will be taken.
The event benefits the senior center.
Society holding yard sale
ELDERSVILLE - The Jefferson Township Historical Society will hold a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the White Church Building located at 12 Fire Road, across from the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Camera club holding auction
WINTERSVILLE, Ohio - The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club will hold a Chinese auction from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Thunder in the Ville Festival below Riesbeck's.
Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Those purchasing tickets may enter their ticket for any matted and framed picture in the auction.
Pictures to be auctioned include a mail pouch barn by Steve Whiting, an eagle by Andy Tindor, a grist mill by Deb Snider, a vintage steam engine by Dave Rees, a waterfall from Old Man's Cave in Ohio by Sam Rees and an Amish buggy by Don Roberts.
Also the club is sponsoring a 50/50 drawing and a drawing for a free club membership. The drawings will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Elks holding steak fry
WELLSBURG - The Wellsburg Elks will hold a steak fry from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the lodge located at 837 Charles St.
The meal includes steak, baked potato, green beans, salad, bread and dessert. The cost is $15 per person.

COLLIERS - The Country Friends will host The Eldurays Saturday at Memorial Hall located at 402 Old Police Lodge Road.

Country Friends holds covered-dish dinners and open mic nights every Monday and Friday. The doors open at 4 p.m., the meal begins at 5 p.m. and open mic begins at 6 p.m.
Country Friends is a nonprofit group dedicated to promoting Christianity and brotherly love through music.

'Mike the Knight' makes visit
ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - There will be free, live 20-minute interactive musical performances of Nick Jr.'s "Mike the Knight and the Mission for Hidden Treasure" at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at The Mall at Robinson located at 100 Robinson Centre Drive.
To help Mike accomplish his mission, audience members are invited to take on challenges alongside Mike and Squirt, and learn lessons in knightliness.
After the show, young knights in training will have the opportunity to tell Mike the Knight what knightly deeds they have done and participate in a special knighting ceremony.
Each 20 minute show will be followed by a meet and greet with Mike.
In addition to the two performances, guests are encouraged to come dressed in knight attire.
Arbor to hold rummage sale
NEW CUMBERLAND - The Arbor will hold a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 2 at the facility located at 208 S. Chester St.
Items will include gently used children's and adult clothing, household items and baby and toddler items.
Hot dogs, sloppy joes, desserts and coffee and iced tea will be available.
Proceeds benefit the community outreach after-school program.
