The Weirton Kiwanis Club celebrated 100 percent membership participation in a Broadband Survey, provides information about the Northern Panhandle that will be used in local, state and federal grant proposals for developing increased broadband and fiberoptic speeds to benefit local businesses, schools, health care facilities and governmental agencies. Weirton Kiwanis members were especially interested in the survey’s emphasis in addressing the needs of the handicapped and physically challenged using information technology.
