Helping tornado victims

July 2, 2013
Weirton Daily Times
Vito’s 2 continued its joint effort with the Follansbee Chamber of Commerce to help tornado victims in Oklahoma with a spaghetti dinner Monday at the Follansbee Community House. Working in the kitchen and serving were, from left, Sean Tucker; Vito “Skip” Cutrone, owner of Vito’s 2; his wife, Katie; Nancy Parr; Kayla Cutrone; Katy Romitti; Kacie Kruger; Kyleigh Parr; and Roman McEndree. Kayla Cutrone suggested the family reach out to the Barrett family of Moore, Okla., who lost their home. So far about $6,300 has been raised through a poker run, boot drive, tag day, sale of desserts at the restaurant and donations to a fund set up at WesBanco banks. There will be a breakfast buffet for the cause from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday at the restaurant. The cost is $6 per person. -- Warren Scott
