AMSTERDAM - First Presbyterian Church in Carrollton was the setting for the June 15 wedding that united Nichole Walters and Marcus Locke during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony, officiated by the Rev. Burt McGlawn.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, David and Cheryl Walters of Amsterdam, the bride chose a chiffon gown while carrying a bouquet of red and blue roses.
The groom is the son of Myron and Julie Locke of Amherst.

Laura Runion was the maid of honor, with Kara Rufener and Rachel Bean as bridesmaids. Scott Sell was the best man, with Ryan Slezak and Peter Haubert as groomsmen.
The bride is a graduate of Edison High School and the University of Akron with a bachelor of music degree in education. The groom is a graduate of Marion L. Steele High School and the University of Akron with a bachelor of music degree in euphonium performance and a bachelor of music degree in composition and plans to attend the University of Minnesota to further his musical studies.
