WEIRTON - Four individuals face drug charges following a traffic stop in Weirton Thursday.
As a result of an investigation into alleged drug activity, Weirton police officials explained they conducted the traffic stop in the downtown section of the city.
Arrested during the traffic stop, according to a release from the Weirton Police Department, were Nico GlennLeMere Mayo, 18 of Steubenville, Natasha Lester, 28 of Steubenville, Michelle Harris, 43 of Steubenville, and Raven Harris, 25 of Weirton.
Mayo has been charged with possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute heroin.
Michelle Harris, Raven Harris and Lester were all charged with conspiracy to possess heroin with the intent to distribute.
All four individuals were transported to the West Virginia Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville and are awaiting arraignment by a Brooke County magistrate.
