Theft: Two washing machines, two dryers and copper piping taken from vacant house in the 700 block of Woodlawn Road, Monday.

Arrested: Natasha Hawkins, 29, 702 N. Sixth St., petit theft, possession of hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia, Monday.

Theft: Residence entered in the 200 block of South Eighth Street and Xbox taken, Monday.

Theft: Vehicle entered in parking lot in the 300 block of John Scott Highway and purse taken, Monday.

Arrested: Natasha S. Lemley, 26, 140 S. Ninth St., failure to appear warrant out of municipal court, Monday.

Arrested: Stacy Antill, 41, 507 Lincoln Blvd., bench warrant out of municipal court and open container, Monday.

Cited: Teresa Knight, 32, Apartment 6, 205 Putnam Lane, Weirton, one-way street.

Arrested: David Cope, 49, 808 Main St., Toronto, two failure to appear warrants out of municipal court, today.

Jefferson County sheriff

Break-in: Storage shed at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, township Road 195, Bloomingdale, broken into and numerous items taken, including lawn mower, weed trimmer and air compressor, reported Aug. 11.

Theft: Vendor at county fairgrounds reported booth entered Friday and boots, jewelry and clothing taken.

Ohio State Highway Patrol

Arrested: Billy Hayes, 30, 1026 Smithfield Township Road 150, Dillonvale, failure to appear in court warrant out of Belmont County, today.

Cross Creek Township

Cited: Jason R. Ruiz, 32, 1209 Bantam Ridge Road, Wintersville, speeding.

Brooke County sheriff

Arrested: Jeremy T. Smith, 23, Martins Ferry, warrants for obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Saturday.

Cited: Michael A. Rea, 30, 923 Jefferson St., Follansbee, speeding; and Henry C. Davis, 29, Wheeling, driving while suspended- administrative and improper registration.

Theft: A chain saw was taken from the garage of a home on Toat Avenue in Windsor Heights Thursday.

Thefts: A 5-gallon gasoline can was taken from an unlocked garage at a home on Brookeview Drive in Follansbee Friday night. Unlocked vehicles there were entered also. Unlocked vehicles at homes on Peacock Lane in Follansbee and Pennsylvania Avenue in Colliers also were entered and cash and coins taken late Friday or early Saturday.

Destruction of property: Several mailboxes along Candle Drive near state Route 67 were struck by a vehicle Friday.
