Weirton Daily Times
The children who attended the Christ United Methodist Church vacation Bible school July 21-25 had a competition to see which could raise the most money for the Table of Hope and raised nearly $800 after hearing from Table of Hope volunteers Katie Allen, Jacob Huntziner and Pam Donohue. Michelle Shernisky, Bible school assistant, left, and Jackie Nixon, mission chair, center, presented the check to Robin Frank, Table of Hope coordinator, right. The Table of Hope serves meals from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on West Street. -- Contributed
