Blackmoor Ladies Monday Night Golf League played a two-gal scramble on Aug. 26.

Following play, Ann Eroshovich, president, held a business meeting with discussion including the invitational that was held on Aug. 1. Eroshevich thanked all members for their help and support to make the event a success.
Sponsorship money will be donated to the Tony Termana Cancer Center.
Eroshevich thanked Mary DiMichael for all the work she did in obtaining so many sponsors for the cause. She also thanked all members and the community for its support of the league's efforts. Letters have been sent out thanking them for the support of the cancer center.
This year's banquet will be held at Zalinski's. There will be more information to come and a sign-up sheet for those wanting to attend
Play day away will be held on Sept. 12 at Pleasant View Golf Course in Minerva. There will be special price for golf and breakfast.
Eroshevich asked Lori Szymanek and Judy Hare to be the committee for obtaining officers for next year. The meeting will be held Thursday. The food committee will be Marge Alpino, Brenda McClosky, Erin Mader and Patti Rothacher.
After the meeting, a luncheon was furnished by Judy Hare, Ruth Lamantia, Mary DiMichael and Jay Risner.

Town and Country Women's Golf League played medal on Aug. 22 at Spring Hills Golf Course.

Priscilla Mavrich took her 10th win as the Williams' Ladies Golf Association's club champion. After a two-week grueling tournament, Mavrich took her win with a gross score of 174, avoiding a play-off when Maribeth Arlia missed her last putt, ending up with a 175.
Arlia took runner-up champion, and Jennie Epifano took low net first flight with a score of 155, playing the last hole in the rain.
Flight two low gross winner went to Sue Sakara with a score of 202 and Rita Kohn taking low net with a score of 149.
Flight three low gross winner was Erikka Buracchio coming in with a score of 214, and low net winner was Vi Stein with a score of 148.
Golf Professional Dean DiBerardino explained the "Rules of Golf" when a player signs an incorrect score card, even if it would be an error written in by a playing partner, the player would have to accept the score if he or she signed it.
Assistant Pro Jason Smoljanovich announced the winners for the championships and the weekly play.
Weekly play winners in a "Blind Draw" event in first place was the team of Arlia, Sakara and Epifano. Second-place team was Stein, Kohn and Phyllis Phillips.
The "Pot of Gold" was taken by Linda Staffilino with a chip-in on hole No. 16.
A champagne celebration" to toast the winners for the two weeks' play was held in the Williams Room. Hospitality chairman was Kay Mascio.
Staffilino, president, called a brief meeting following the luncheon announcing play with the Crispin Ladies Golf Association to be held at Williams on the regular Tuesday event on Sept. 10, with a luncheon to follow.
Rita Wickham gave her treasurer's report.
The West Virginia pin winner will be announced at the closing meeting and will be presented the award. This must be a player who resides and plays the championship in the state of West Virginia. It is presented annually.
The course will be closed for "Aerification" on Tuesday and Wednesday with no women's golf scheduled. Members must sign up or call the Pro Shop to be listed for play on Sept. 10.
