Team Isaiah will hold pasta
dinner fundraiser Saturday
WEIRTON - Team Isaiah will hold a pasta dinner fundraiser from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church located at 121 Ivy St.
The event will include a Chinese auction and 50/50 drawing. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
The proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Chorus practice begins Monday
WHEELING - The Tri-State Community Chorus will begin its inaugural season this fall.
The first rehearsal will be held from 7 p.m to 9 p.m. Monday at the Wheeling Central Catholic High School's band room located at 75 14th St.
Rehearsals will be held every Monday.
The group is open to anyone high school-aged and older. No audition is required; prior music experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Wizards to perform Wednesday
EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - The Harlem Wizards will perform Wednesday at the Potters Field House.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.
The Wizards will play a community team sponsored by the East Liverpool Salvation Army and perform basketball tricks and stunts.
Advance tickets are $5 for general admission and $10 for premium seating. General admission is $10 at the door and premium seating is $12.
Proceeds will benefit the East Liverpool Salvation Army to provide food and clothing to the area's needy.

Trumpets celebrating anniversary
STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - The Trumpets of Joy Quartet will celebrate their 51st anniversary at 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church located at 708 N. Fifth St.
Sister Harriet Kirkland-Washington of Mount Calvary Chapel of Midland, Pa., will be the mistress of ceremonies. The Gospel Lights of Pittsburgh, The Mighty Golden Wonders of Warren, Ohio, Doc Roe of Mingo Junction, Ohio, 1NEMINISTRY of Pittsburgh and The Old Men and the Boyz of Akron, Ohio, will be the special musical guests.
