The Fall Riverfest is making its return to New Cumberland this weekend, and it's sure to be a great event to help usher in the autumnal season.
This will be the fifth year for the festival, which takes place primarily along River Avenue in New Cumberland. Each year, it attracts a variety of vendors, crafters, entertainers and other attractions, providing a great weekend of activities for our residents to enjoy as the temperatures begin to cool.
Among this year's event lineup is a 5K walk/run Saturday morning. The Hancock County Arts Council will be bringing back its Local Artist's Show at the Old City Building on Jefferson Street, and performances by Michelle's Dance Studio, the Silver Eagle Band and a fireworks display are sure to provide a great time on Saturday.
More musical entertainment and the Little Miss New Cumberland pageant will be among the events featured on Sunday.
This is just one of our great community events taking place in the Tri-State Area throughout the fall, and we encourage our residents and visitors to take some time to check it out.
