Bears for Comfort House

September 26, 2013
Weirton Daily Times
The ladies of Trinity Lutheran Church, Weirton, show off some of the 50 stuffed bears they crafted for Comfort House, the Weirton-based child advocacy center tasked with determining if youngsters are being abused physically or emotionally. The bears are presented to the children after Comfort House’s forensic interviewers complete their work. Among the women taking part in the outing at the former Robinson Township Build-A-Bear store were, from left, Pam Kesling, Carol Bloomer, Helen Morris, Beth Stull, Neveh Stull and Diane Mankowski.
