To the editor:
I just wanted to personally thank Mayor Milo Baker of Bowerston, Ohio, and all the members of its village council.
I recently attended a meeting to introduce myself and the business I will be representing and to speak about an upcoming workshop. Before the meeting, I inadvertently looked my keys, along with two cell phones, inside my vehicle. Fortunately, I have a vehicle that has the programmable key lock. Unfortunately, my code was stored away in my phone, in the vehicle.
Everybody was willing to come to my aid. They offered rides, phone calls, etc. About the time the meeting was wrapping up, my husband called with my code. I will say if I ever have to get stuck somewhere, Bowerston would be a pretty friendly place to be. I felt like I had a Mayberry, RFD experience. Thank you, again, Bowerston Village Council.
