Arrested: Charles Briggs, 22, 1004 McKinley Ave., bench warrant for failure to appear, Friday. Also cited for driving while his license was suspended.

Arrested: Joshua Vetanze, 34, 723 1/2 Broadway St., Martins Ferry, charged with assault and criminal mischief after allegedly breaking a car window in the 100 block of Powell Avenue and urinating inside the vehicle, Friday.

Arrested: Samantha R. Bates26, 339 Lincoln Ave., Mingo Junction, bench warrant for failure to appear, Friday.

Arrested: Ramona F. Christian, 25, 459 S. Fifth St., Steubenville, bench warrant, Friday.

Arrested: Jason Shackelford, 39, no address listed, arrested on warrants for assault and aggravated burglary, Saturday.

Cited: Christina M. Tipton, 340 Lovers Lane, following too closely, Friday; Michala R. Crawford, 457 S. Fifth St., parking in a restricted area, Friday; Truong Nguyen, 2199 Sunset Boulevard, parking in a restricted area; Douglas Wenzowski, 400 Thurman Ave., Weirton, leaving the scene, Saturday; Terrance Smith, 972 Sherman Ave., Steubenville, loud radio; and April Lee Theronia Walters, 2417 Sunset Boulevard, driving without lights.

Theft: Wallet stolen from a purse at Trinity East Hospital, Friday.

Vandalized: Three dents and a scratched bumper discovered on vehicle parked in 200 block of Kingston Avenue, Friday.

Arrested: Dylan Thomas LeMasters, 20, 2225 Sunset Boulevard, warrant for aggravated menacing, Tuesday. Also cited for a seat belt violation.

Theft: An employee of a weatherization firm reported a break-in at a home on Wayne Township Road 201, Bloomingdale, Friday. A door knob pried off, a baseboard heater was broken, and a hot water heater and copper pipes were missing.

Vehicle taken: An individual who'd requested a ride home allegedly took a woman's vehicle without her permission. City police later found the man passed out behind the wheel and impounded the car.

Mingo Junction

Arrested: Elijah Foust, 36, 107 Lincoln Ave., Mingo Junction, possession of drugs and possession of a drug abuse instrument, Friday.

Ohio Highway State Patrol

Arrested: Larry D. Swick, 39, Woodsfield, OH, operating a vehicle under the influence, Friday.

Arrested: Bryan Liggett, 32, 438 Mellwood, Toronto, operating a vehicle under the influence, possession of heroin, driving under suspension and following too closely, Saturday.
