The Hancock County Arts Council will hold the fourth annual Holiday Home tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16.
The tour will begin with a reception from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Swaney Memorial Library, located on Court Street in New Cumberland.
The tour will include the Jason and Sharon Backel home in Weirton; the historic Sharon Bogarad law offices; the early 1900s Peggy Rocchio home in New Cumberland; Tamara Pettit home on Veterans Boulevard; Jim and Susan McGuillen home in Chester; American Craft-style Peachtree Inn in Chester; Kitty's Candle Shop; and Summit Art Gallery in Weirton. The gallery will be displaying Christmas-themed art. The sites may be visited in any order, and visitors may have their tickets stamped at each site. Those who receive all seven stamps will be entered to win a Fiestaware Gift Basket, worth $500, donated by the arts council, convention bureau and Homer Laughlin China Co.
Tickets are $20. They may be purchased at the convention bureau located at Main Street and Cove Road in Weirton. They also may be purchased at the library located on Court Street in New Cumberland the morning of the event. The proceeds will benefit the Weirton Woman's Club, New Cumberland Women's Club and Chester Arts Council.
