Allison Elementary School recognized five students for reading for at least 2,500 minutes since the school year began. The students include, from left, front, Emma Brown and Brooklyn Barnhart, and, back, Lillyann McElroy, Elexus Greenlief and Matthew Greenlief. The students were awarded tickets for the Harlem Wizards game Wednesday at Oak Glen Middle School, where northern Hancock County teachers will face off with the Wizards in a basketball game. the school’s pupils are taking part in the million minute reading challenge, and each child is asked to read for 20 minutes each night. -- Contributed
