Greater Weirton Area Senior

Center to hold dance Thursday

WEIRTON - The Greater Weirton Area Senior Center will hold a dance at 5 p.m. Thursday at the center located on Main Street.

Sands of Time will perform. Admission is $5.

The center also will hold a New Year's Eve party; tickets are on sale at the senior center.

Church holding turkey dinner

WEIRTON - St. Thomas Episcopal Church will hold a turkey dinner Friday at the church located on Three Springs Drive.

The meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, dinner rolls and coffee. The cost is $8. Desserts will be available for purchase. Take-out will be available.

Church holding sing, social

WEIRTON - The First Baptist Church of Weirton will host a hymn sing and pie social at 7 p.m. Sunday. The church choir will sing and the event will include hymn-singing and pie and coffee. All are welcome to attend.

Church holding anniversary service

WEIRTON - The Morning Star Baptist Church will celebrate its 94th church anniversary Nov. 17 at the church located on Weir Avenue.

The theme is "The Church That Christ is Building," based on Matthew 16:13-19.

Dinner will be served following the 10:30 a.m. morning service until 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Willie Stinson, pastor at Agape Baptist Church in Wheeling, and his congregation will be guests at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Willie L. Nevels is pastor.

Church holding nut roll sale

MINGO JUNCTION, Ohio - St. Andrew Orthodox Church will hold nut roll sales in November and December.
