Some disassembly required

November 11, 2013
Weirton Daily Times
East Liverpool laborers, from left, Robert Kane and David Kane disassemble the home bleachers at Newell Memorial Field on Friday. The bleachers will be hauled away and likely sold for reuse, said Jeff Cahill of The website lists used bleachers for sale online. The visitors’ bleachers and press box are going to a private school in Lafayette, La., said Rob Juszczak of Juszczak Development. Hancock County commissioners, who bought the stadium property from the Hancock County school board last year, awarded Juszczak the contract to disassemble the bleachers and demolish the structures on the property. Juszczak said the site, with the exception of the war memorial, should be clear by the end of the month. -- Stephen Huba
