Storyteller tells Appalachian tales

WHEELING - West Virginia storyteller Granny Sue will present "From the Mountains and Beyond" at the Step Into Stories program at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Ohio County Public Library.

Granny Sue's storytelling takes audiences back to a time when stories were part of the fabric of every day life. Her stories include mountain tall tales, world folktales, poignant family stories, ghostly tales and Appalachian ballads. Granny Sue's storytelling is designed to entertain, educate and engage listeners of all ages, cultural backgrounds and interests.

Step Into Stories programs are designed for children and families. They are free and open to the public.
