Comedy Night Saturday to

benefit St. Joseph School

WEIRTON - Pittsburgh comedians Mike Wysocki and Tom Musial will appear at Comic Relief Saturday at the Serbian-American Cultural Center, located at 1000 Colliers Way.

The doors open at 6:15 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.

The event will include 1970s and 1980s music before the show and after the show until 11 p.m. Those attending may dress in 1970s and 1980s clothing, with prizes to be awarded for the best outfits. There will be a cash bar, and food will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $40 and include light appetizers. Tickets will be available at the door.

Crocheting group to meet

WELLSBURG - The Brooke County Public Library's Crocheting Group will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The group is for adults, beginners through experts.

Those participating should bring their own supplies and projects.

Someone will be available to assist or instruct those who need help.

The PG-13-rated film stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel.

WEIRTON - The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will hold a Martin Luther King Project from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Mary H. Weir Library.

Seniors will learn hidden costs involved with borrowing money.
