Wars shouldn't earn political points

January 12, 2014
Weirton Daily Times

To the Editor,

Pinocchio Obama's former Defense Secretary Robert Gates has just written a new book and it slams Obama's leadership. "Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War," this book gives the American people an up close insight to the behind the scenes activities in the Obama White House.

Every citizen of this great country has the right to agree or disagree with the wars we have and are still fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you are a politician you also have the same right to agree or disagree with these wars. If you are a politician such as Obama and Hillary Clinton and decide to send our brave soldiers to fight and die to gain politically then, in my opinion, you should be tried for treason!

Sending our soldiers into battle thinking that they can't win but doing it anyway because you think you will gain a political advantage is about as scandalous and repugnant as it gets.

Why should any of us think that Obama and Hillary Clinton would act any other way? You can put as much lipstick on a pig as you want and in the end you still have a pig! In this case a Marxist Pig!

God Bless all of the American military that have fought and died for our freedoms! God bless America!
