President James Freiling presided for the January dinner meeting of the Mingo Lions Club that was held at Mingo Medical Group Office Building.
Karen Edwards led in opening ceremonies.
Used glasses were turned in and will be taken to the Lions Collection Center by Bill Snyder.

Anyone interested in donating used glasses to the club can contact any club member or drop them off in the Lions collection boxes placed throughout the village.
Clara Sue Milewsky gave a report on the Christmas party.
A thank-you note was received from the GFWC Woman's Club of Mingo for the club's donation to the Halloween parade and party.
The Mingo Lions Club will serve as host of the zone meeting to be held Feb. 17. The location has been changed to the Schuetz Funeral Home.
Volunteer callers for the meetings are Terry Snyder, March; Dr. William Johns, April; and Jeff Schuetz, May.
Subjects discussed were membership, the Cherry Blossom Park and Mingo Community Days.
Birthdays were acknowledged.
Kathy Freiling was a guest.
The winner of the drawing was Jo Ann Johns, who donated it back to the club.
The next regular meeting will be held Feb. 17, which also will be the zone meeting. Freiling will be the caller.
