What will the celebrity "chefs" be providing at Saturday's first-time "Jazzy Jeans and Jewels" to be held at the Hellenic Hall, 300 S. Fourth St., Steubenville, to benefit the Jefferson County Fourth Street Health Center?

Co-chairs Patricia Fletcher and Janet Sharpe have announced the menu for the event that begins at 6 p.m. and includes a "jazzy jean" contest, a cash bar, food, and dancing to music by disc jockey Ross Ivkovich:

-- Chef James Baber: Pulled pork.

-- Chef Dr. Tom Brown: Tomato basil bruschetta.

-- Chef Dr. John Hyland: Crab balls.

-- Chef Joe Ighnat (Pinehurst Catering): Chocolate fountain.

-- Chef Jonathan Littlejohn (Little Snack Shack): Sweet potato pie.

-- Chef Mary Lynch (YWCA): Chicken puffs.

-- Chef Dr. Pat Macedonia: Cabbage rolls.

-- Chef Judy Manfred: Salad, sausage.

-- Chef Domenick Mucci: Shredded Italian beefsliders.

-- Chef Keith Murdock: Homemade kielbasa.

-- Chef Matt Parise (Mama G's): Cake.

-- Chef Todd Phillipson (Jefferson County Joint Vocational School): Vegetable Lasagna.

-- Chef John Rocchi: Buckeyes.

-- Chef Clint Quillen: Macaroni and cheese.

-- Chef Dr. Pervaiz Rahman: Beef patties.

-- Chef LeRoy Sharpe: Haluski.

-- Chef Bob Villamagna: Meatballs.

Patrons also are invited to wear their "jazziest jeans" and accessories for the event that will feature a "jazzy jeans" contest in which the winner gets a "Red Carpet package" makeover courtesy of Legal Hair and Day Spa in Steubenville.

By 7 p.m., a panel of judges - Francesca Carinci, Bryan Felmet, Phyllis Riccadonna and Rich Wilinski - will select five or six people from the audience who are wearing what they consider to be the "jazziest" outfit, according to Sharpe. They'll be given a name tag, and a jar with their name on it will allow everyone in attendance to vote for their favorite outfit. The "cost" is $1 per vote. The winner will be the person who collects the most money.

Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple and are available by contacting Sharpe at (740) 632-1144; at the health center located at 701 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, where the phone number is (740) 283-2856; or from any committee member. Tickets also will be available at the door.

All proceeds from Saturday's event will benefit the center, which come spring hopes to open a dental clinic, the co-chairs said.
