Weir High cheerleaders to hold server night

WEIRTON - The Weir High School cheerleaders will hold a celebrity server fundraising event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Undo's at the Holiday Inn - Weirton located on Three Springs Drive.

Cup of Life to hold coffee house

WEIRTON - Cup of Life Ministries will hold the monthly Christian women's coffee house Friday at the Marland Heights Community Church located at 3900 Bright Way.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with complimentary sandwiches, beverages and desserts. Worship music leaders Judi Baldwin and Angel Pevich will lead the women's worship service at 7 p.m., followed by Bible teacher Tina Schoolcraft.

There will be free babysitting for children aged pre-kindergarten through fourth grade.

Church holding community dinner

WELLSBURG - The First Presbyterian Church of Wellsburg will hold a free community dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 at the church located at 901 Charles St.

The public is invited.

Eaters Anonymous meeting locally

Compulsive Eaters Anonymous, a 12-step, self-help group based on the Alcoholics Anonymous principles for those who have a problem with compulsive eating, meets locally.

Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Ohio County Public Library's lower level board room located at 52 16th St., Wheeling; and 6:30 p.m. Sundays at East Ohio Regional Hospital located at 90 N. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Meetings are free and open to the public.
