March 6, 2014
Weirton Daily Times

Children at Hooverson Heights Primary School celebrated the anniversary of Dr. Seuss' birthday with games and activities inspired by his books. The school's staff was assisted by members of the school's PTA and WatchDOGS, a group of fathers, grandfathers and other men who volunteer at the school. First photo, children used orange feathers to create mustaches resembling that of The Lorax. Second photo, clockwise from left, Brayden Groves, Camryn Permar, Isabella George, Ashton Bunner and Chloe Gorman, prepared a bowl of green-colored goo called oobleck, a substance featured in "Bartholomew and the Oobleck."
