WINTERSVILLE - Kayla Nicole Pool and Anthony Richard Pompa were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on July 6 at LaBelle View Church of Christ of Steubenville, with the Rev. Tom Arehart and the Rev. Jeremy Ellis officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Cindy Persina and Gene Pool Jr. of Wintersville.
The groom is the son of Richard and Nanette Pompa of Wintersville.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and stepfather. She wore a white, satin strapless Swarovski crystal encrusted ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and a Swarovski crystal trimmed cathedral-length veil. She carried Swarovski crystal covered bouquet of cream roses and hydrangeas.
Kelsey Pool, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kim Persina, the bride's stepsister; Nicole Geary, the groom's sister; Rachel Pompa, the groom's sister; and Ariel Smith, Jelena Povich, Katie Christopher, Tiffany Sismondo, Hilary Ayers, Alex Hooshmandi, Bri Johnson, Jen Murphy and Rachel James.
Justin Jones was the best man. Groomsmen were Brad Hrinko; Joe Geary, the groom's brother-in-law; Anthony Capp; Sean West; Bobby Stojkov; Justin Sims; Michael Dota; Joey Burns; Tim O'Halek; Justen Humphreys; Nick Yacovone; and Fred Erbe.
The flowergirl was Lucy Oldaker. The ringbearer was Angelo Geary, the groom's nephew.
A reception was held at Williams Country Club in Weirton. The couple honeymooned in Puerto Rico, Barbados, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, St. Maarten and St. Kitts.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Akron, where she received a bachelor's degree in political science. She is employed at the law firm of Goldberg, Persky and White in Pittsburgh.
The groom is a 2006 graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Akron where he received a bachelor's degree in education. He is employed as a high school math teacher and football coach at Weir High School.
They live in Steubenville.
