Students learn about dental care

April 2, 2014
Weirton Daily Times
Calcutta dentist Dr. Jaime Swearingen, left, and dental hygienist Candi Snyder take a question from a second-grader at Allison Elementary School during a recent dental hygiene program at the Chester school. The program taught students about proper dental care, including foods that can help or harm teeth. The students were provided with a toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss, and, in return, sent a note saying what they had learned. Swearingen is a native of Chester and a 2000 graduate of Oak Glen High School. -- Contributed
