Madonna High School is supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with the Pennies for Patients initiative. The society, founded in 1949, is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Its mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Seniors Amanda Paul, left, and Emily Pietranton, right, head up the initiative with the assistance of Guidance Counselor Bruce Marshall. -- Contributed
