Proceeds from the fourth-annual Campbell-Dickinson Bike-Run-Walk have been donated to the Trinity Health Foundation T.E.A.R. Fund. Helping with the presentation of the check for $27,545 were, from left, Dr. John Hyland, representing the Tony Teramana Cancer Center; Susan Miller, cancer patient advocate; Dr. Pervais Rahman, representing the Teramana Cancer Center; George Komar, race director; R.C. Purkey of WCDK-FM; Jenny Dickinson; Andrew Keck of the Hess Corp.; Patricia Campbell; Glenda Harlan of Hess; Pamela Brophey of Huntington Bank; Matt Lewis, representing St. Baldricks; and Ross Gallabrese, executive editor of the Herald-Star and The Weirton Daily Times. Also helping with the event were Lynn Barbe of the cancer center, Carol Bonar of the Trinity E.C.H.O. Fund and Daniel Benson of WTOV-TV. Nearly 1,500 people participated in the March 15 event, which was held in Toronto. During the past four years, the Campbell-Dickinson and St. Baldrick’s events have raised $104,618 for the fight against cancer. — Contributed
