Stanley J. Paprocki, III, 66, of Steubenville, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Stanley was born January 5, 1948, in Steubenville, the son of the late Stanley J. Jr. and Genette Dubay Paprocki.
Stanley was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, graduated from Steubenville Catholic Central High School in 1966 and The College of Steubenville in 1970. He served in the United States Marine Reserves and was an Eagle Scout. Stanley was the owner/ operator of the former Paprocki Accountant Service and recently retired as Chief Financial Officer for DeNoon Lumber of Bergholz, OH. Stanley was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 472, the Ohio Society of CPAs, and the Model Train Collectors Association.
Stanley gave the generous gift of life through organ donation.
Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Beverly (DiBattista) Paprocki; one daughter, Dr. Kimberly (Dr. Craig) Sanders of Covington, KY; one son, Stanley J. Paprocki IV of Las Vegas, NV; two grandsons, D.J. and Brennan Sanders; two brothers, Mark (Marrianna) Paprocki of Canton and Michael (Nonie) Paprocki of Mingo Junction; two sisters, Eleanore (Mike) Welday of Bloomingdale and Margaret Paprocki of Fort Mill, SC.
Calling hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Saturday noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Tom Nau celebrant and Msgr. William Cornelius co-celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either Steubenville Catholic Central or Triumph of the Cross Parish.
