Football officials wanted
STEUBENVILLE - The West Virginia-Ohio Board of certified football officials will hold classes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Monday and Thursday from July 14-Aug. 21 at Eastern Gateway Community College in room 2505.

Panthers to hold hoops camp
RAYLAND - The Buckeye Local Boys Basketball Camp in grades K-8 will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 7-8 at the high school. Cost is $20 per person. Lunch will be provided and each camper will get a camp T-shirt.

Brooke to host camps
WELLSBURG - Brooke High School will hold summer sport camps beginning on Monday with starting times as follows: boys basketball 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; girls basketball noon to 1:30 p.m.; cheerleading 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; cross country 8 a.m.; football 7 a.m.; boys soccer 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; girls soccer 8 a.m.to 11 a.m.; girls tennis 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; volleyball 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All athletes participating must have a physical on file. Current school year physicals will be accepted for the summer camps. However, all students participating in fall sports beginning in August must have a physical dated after June 1.

Youth camps offered
WELLSBURG - A youth basketball camp for students entering grades five through eight will be held from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from June 23-26 at at the Brooke High School gym. The cost is $50 per person. Additional children from the same family will be $45. Proceeds will benefit the Brooke boys basketball program.

A youth soccer camp for students in grades one through eight will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 30-July 2 at the Brooke High School soccer field. Cost is $30 per child. Registration will be held at the soccer field at 5 p.m. on June 30. Proceeds will benefit the Bruins girls soccer program.
