WASHINGTON, Pa. - The George Washington Hotel in Washington, Pa., was the setting for the April 26 wedding that united Stephanie Calvert and Dave Iddings in marriage. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Roger Raymond Fisher.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father, Harold Calvert of Wellsburg, the bride chose to wear her late mother, Christine Calvert Myers', gown. She carried a bouquet of white calla lillies with black and cream hydrangeas accented with crystal and cream pearls.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Iddings Jr. of Washington.
Amanda Holub of Steubenville served as the maid of honor. Laura Culp of Finleyville, Pa.; Marissa Post of Bulger, Pa.; Andrea Appel of State College, Pa., cousin of groom; and Shannon Calvert of Weirton, sister-in-law, served as bridesmaids.
Aaron Wrubleski, cousin of groom, of Washington served as best man. Groomsmen were Bob Culp of Finleyville, Pa.; Nick Wilson of Pittsburgh; Derek Broussard of Steubenville; and Joey Calvert, brother of bride, of Weirton. Other attendants were Ryan Wrubleksi of Muse, Pa.; Jason Wrubleski of Washington; and Justin Wrubleski of Canonsburg, Pa., all cousins of the groom.
Paige Calvert of Weirton, niece of the bride, and Berkly Hatfield of Canonsburg, Pa., cousin of groom, served as flower girls.
Bentley Calvert of Weirton, nephew of bride, served as ring bearer.
After a reception at the George Washington Hotel, the newlyweds took a trip to Indianapolis, Ind.
The bride is a graduate of Brooke High School and the former Jefferson Community College with a degree in criminal justice technologies. She is employed by SPHS Crisis Services.
The groom is a graduate of Trinity High School and Robert Morris University with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is employed by Ensinger Plastics.
They reside in Washington.
