Mark 11:23 "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."
Momentum is a powerful force. Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defines momentum as "strength or force gained by motion or by a series of events." The greater the motion that something has, the greater its momentum and thus, the more difficult it is to stop. Faith is like that. Like wheels in motion that are powered by an engine fueled by gasoline, various factors can fuel your faith and create a momentum that is difficult to stop.
The Bible teaches that Jesus said, "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do" (Jn. 14:13). Understand that as a believer, if you are living righteously before God and are in close relationship with Him, you have the right to ask Him for anything that lines up with His Word and His will. If He has promised it for you, you can boldly and expectantly ask for it, knowing by faith that it will be done! Today's Bible verse exhibits 3 ingredients in the fuel of faith. Each builds upon the other while creating a strong momentum, making it impossible for the devil to stop. Here they are:
1.) Declaration Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountain" Mountains of life are objects standing in the way of things that are rightfully yours. Jesus teaches us to speak to the mountain and say, "Be removed, and be cast into the sea." Get this point: God needs your voice to eliminate your mountain! You must speak to it to get through it! What do you speak? Speak God's perspective pertaining to that mountain; speak His Word. God's Word must hit the atmosphere to change the atmosphere! When you speak His Word with His authority (the Name of Jesus), positive momentum flows out of you into the negative situation. Make declarations founded upon God's Word and command the mountain to move!
2.) Internalization Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountainand shall not doubt in his heart" Satan's battleground is in the minds of people. He wages war in your thought life. Oftentimes, when you speak your thoughts, your words are negatively influenced by the battle going on in your head. If you speak to your mountain only from your mind, the devil's assaults will weaken the weaponry of your mouth by causing you to think on the realities of facts rather than the possibilities of faith. That's why you must internalize the Word of God by getting it past your mind and into your heart. In turn, when you speak out of your spirit your words are based on faith rather than facts and feelings! Doubt is not your partner; it's an intruder. Evict doubt and invite faith!
3.) Determination Jesus said, "Whosoever shall say unto this mountainand shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe...shall have" Believe, here, means to believe through and keep believing until the answer to your request is realized. You must have faith that is determined and relentless, refusing to be denied. Determination bypasses news reports, facts, yesterday's results, the expectation of naysayers, and more. It stands solid as a rock upon the anchor of the unchanging truth of God's Word. Determination is built on the sure foundation of Jesus Christ, who is "the same yesterday, and today, and forever" (Heb. 13:8). It continues in spite of what is happening in the natural as it demands the supernatural.
Now get this in your spirit: Jesus said that a person who speaks, does not doubt, and believes, "shall have whatsoever he saith."
Declaration plus internalization plus determination equals manifestation!
Fuel your faith and gain unstoppable momentum!
A Blessing for You Today: I bless you today with fuel for your faith. May you speak holy missiles out of your mouth to your mountains. May you be full of God's Word deep down in your spirit. Your Declaration for Today: In the Name of Jesus Christ, I declare that I am a voice for God's Word. I will speak what He says regardless of feelings and facts.
