Helping others

August 10, 2014
Weirton Daily Times
Ohio Valley Honda held a food drive for the Cancer Dietary Initiative during July. Donations exceeded the dealership’s goal, which was to the fill the bed of a 2014 Honda Ridgeline RTL. More than 1,000 nonperishable items were donated, enough to fill the truck’s bed and back seat. The Cancer Dietary Initiative at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center is a 1-year-old organization that was started by Don Heiss, a customer at the dealership, which is located at 532 N. Third St. in Steubenville. The goal of the organization is to help economically struggling cancer patients in the Tri-State Area with a monthly food distribution supported entirely by donations. — Contributed
