Edison tops Toronto

EAST SPRINGFIELD – The Edison golf team beat Toronto 206-208 at Spring Hills Golf Course Tuesday.

The Wildcats’ Jimmy Marsh shot a 47 for the day’s low score. Ben Boyd shot 48 and Clay Woodward 54 while Shane Pendleton and Mason Allese each shot 57.

Sante Carducci shot a 49 to lead the Red Knights. Ben Hlivko shot 51, Wll Newbold 53, and Parker Wright 55.

Redskins beat Panthers

YORKVILLE – The Indian Creek golf team defeated Buckeye Local 189-243 Tuesday at Bec-Wood Hills Golf Course.

Adam Freshwater and Aaron Foldi of the Redskins shared top honors by shooting 45. Jesse Rouse shot a 47 with Chris Riffee shooting 52.

Eric Williams led the Panthers witha 46 while Dan Duill scored a 58, Nick Concato 68, and Austin Antill 71.

Big Red competes at Salt Fork

LORE CITY – The Steubenville High School golf team went 0-4 at Salt Fork State Park Golf Course, shooting a 529 Tuesday. Meadowbrook went 4-0 with a team score of 343 followed by 3-1 Cambridge (353), 2-2 River View (383), and 1-3 Philo (416).

Kasey Peterson shot 97 to lead Big Red with Jonah Moro scoring 139, Isiah Lee 144, and Josh Gault 149.

Meadowbrook was led by match medalist Damon Moore with a 75, Cambridge by Skyler Roederer’s 78, River View by Kyle Daugherty’s 92, and Philo had two golfers – Zeke Scott and Logan Jarrett – score 99.
