Sterling named all-Ohio
COLUMBUS – Steubenville Big Red’s Adam Sterling has been selected to the Associated Press Division II All-Ohio boys basketball team, based on the recommendations of a media panel.
The 6-foot-4 senior, a first team All-Eastern District selection, averaged 15.3 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.2 steals, 2.4 blocks and 2.2 assists per game.
Buckeye Local senior Brennan Czuchran was picked as a third-team choice.
Czuchran, who broke the 1,000-point mark in his last game with the Panthers, was also a first team district selection after he averaged 21.3 points an outing.
Big Red senior Brandon Herring-Hill, a second team district pick, was selected on the special mention squad.
He averaged 17.4 points, 4.4 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals a contest.
