To be a Hilltopper

Brooke High senior Koty Hudson, flanked by his parents, Aaron and Samantha Hudson, and brother Gabe, will continue his academic and athletic careers at West Liberty University, where he will major in exercise physiology and be a member of the football program as a preferred walk-on. Hudson was the starting quarterback a year ago, when the Bruins returned to the playoffs after a six-year absence. He missed most of this senior season and all of the basketball season due to a torn ACL. Hudson completed 159 passes for 1,813 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior, when he was an honorable mention All-OVAC selection. Also on hand for the signing were, from left, head football coach Mac McLean, offensive coordinator C.J. Besece and Athletic Director Sean Blumette.
