Homol — Beatovich

MINGO JUNCTION – St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo Junction was the setting for the ceremony that united Christina Homol and Joseph W. Beatovich in marriage on July 6. The Rev. Jim Dunfee officiated the 1 p.m. nuptials, with the Rev. Keith Romke concelebrating.

The bride, daughter of Mike and Karen Homol of Steubenville, was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of William and Colleen Beatovich of Yorktown, Va.

Mary Homol of Steubenville, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Rook of Steubenville; Bernadette Meyer of Louisville, Ky.; April McCann of Colliers; and Ana Hahn of South Bend, Ind., all sisters of the bride; Grace Ann Beatovich of South Bend and Katie Rose Beatovich of Yorktown, sisters of the groom; Kaitlyn Marks of Fort Thomas, Ky.; Olivia Spears of Owensboro, Ky.; Bernadette Madden of Pittsburgh; Juliana Sennett of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Regina Leone of Cleveland.

Flower girls were Gianna Rook and Cecilia McCann, nieces of the bride.

Jason Theobold of Beaver, Pa., served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Homol of Marietta, Ga., and Jonathan Homol of Louisville, brothers of the bride; Philip Rook of Steubenville, brother-in-law of the bride; Ben Fleser of Norfolk, Va.; Elliot Foley of Batavia, Ill.; Chris Loisel of New Orleans; Steve Digman of Binghamton, N.Y.; Alex Abbud of Newark, N.J.; and Michael Hickey of Canton.

Enzo Dugan, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer.

After a reception at the Serbian-American Cultural Center in Weirton, the couple honeymooned in Walker, Minn.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Catholic Central High School and a 2012 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed with Dreyer Medical Clinic in Aurora, Ill.

The groom is a 2007 graduate of Seton Home Study and a 2012 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor of arts degree in communication arts and is employed with St. Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.

They live in Auroa.
