Pavlik — York
BURGETTSTOWN – Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church in Aliquippa, Pa., was the setting for the July 13 wedding of Jennifer Ann Pavlik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pavlik of Burgettstown and Kevin Douglas York, son of the Rev. and Mrs. James York of Washington, Pa. The 2:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Kevin Neal.
The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father.
Kayla Seibel of Burgettstown, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor.
Tyler Campbell of Bradley, Ill., served as best man.
Madison Pavlik of Burgettstown, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Jacob York of Washington, Pa., brother of the groom, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Slovan Veterans of Foreign Wars. The couple are planning a honeymoon trip for the fall.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Burgettstown Junior/Senior High School; a 2007 graduate of Clarion University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in special education; and a 2011 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a master’s degree in early childhood. She is a special education teacher with Intermediate Unit 1.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Portage Central High School, Mich. He is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in pastoral ministry from Nazarene Bible College, Colorado Springs, Colo. He is an associate pastor at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, Washington, Pa., and also is employed by Bill’s Furniture in Washington, Pa.
