Zavarella — Manfredonia

WINTERSVILLE – Karen Kirlangitis Zavarella and John Manfredonia of Westminster, Calif., were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Hilton Hotel in Singer Island, Fla. Michael Manfredonia officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Nicke Kirlangitis and Ruth Carson, both of Wintersville.

The groom is the son of Frank and Rita Manfredonia of Delray Beach, Fla.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Allan Kirlangitis, and given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory strapless mermaid-style gown with crystal appliques.

Kara and Kali Kirlangitis, nieces of the bride, were the bridesmaids.

Frank Manfredonia, brother of the groom, was the best man.

A reception was held at the Hilton Hotel, and the couple honeymooned on a cruise to the Bahamas.

The bride graduated from Mingo High School in 1980 and from California State University in Long Beach, Calif. She is employed as a physical therapist with Vibrant Care Rehabilitation on site at Sony and Boeing.

The groom graduated from high school in Cleveland and is employed with Boeing in the mechanic repair and modification department.
